I think it has gotten to the point where my journal is in dire need of an update.
Lego blocks, The Sims, National Geographic's MegaStructures, and a pencil were the essentials that followed me as a child as I sketched architectural marvels and modeled my dream house. From then on, it was inevitable that I would pursue a path involving structures.
While traveling I have visited world-renowned monuments that embody the diverse cultures that exist today. Such distinguished buildings made me think about how powerful our minds are and how creation evolves from our originality. By conceiving our creations, we endeavor to create a parallel between our imagination and reality.
Looking back on my Lego days, I remember wanting to turn dreams into reality. I'm an environmentalist, a thinker, a designer. I don't just want to create stylish designs, I want to create sustainable designs. So while promoting human interaction with the built environment, my creations might seek to create a balance with the natural environment.
I'm almost going off to college!
Although I don't know where I'm going yet, I'll hopefully be at a university studying architecture in the fall. I want to study at an undergraduate architecture program that will not only provide me with insight into architecture's design, cultural, and technical aspects, but also with knowledge of efficient building. So as I await a response from the University of Waterloo's School of Architecture, I'm deciding between a few back-up options.
In my last journal I promised to show you a few more of my drawings and paintings. My portfolio work has been on Facebook for a while, but I haven't even gotten around to uploading it here. I'll do that soon.
Since last year, I've done some more modeling with various photographers. On top of that, I've also gotten behind the camera at some photo shoots to take pictures of my own. I think I'll should you those too.

100 deviations!
After waking up sicker than yesterday and having a SAT registration scare, I decided it was finally time to update my journal. I know it's been 4 months, but I've had tons of things to do. I mean TONS. But the real reason I'm writing isn't because of free spring break time. It's because I've managed to keep my deviations up to date, and I've reached 100!
Along with some more photos, I'll be uploading some more traditional art over the next week. There will be pieces for my school's upcoming Day With the Arts and possibly my portfolio.
I'm Back!
A few years ago I deleted all my deviations and left dA. But I've recently been here using it all the time, and couldn't resist the urge to come back.
So I'm here again!
I'm posting photos- some old, some new.
Once I upload what I've got, I'll work from there.
